Quick Turn-a-round/Casting Call: "My Little World"

Children's Theatre Production "My Little World"- Your Heart Jumps To The Beat!, is seeking multicultural cast members, "young looking," young adult actors and actresses. This interactive theatre production requires cast members who are physically fit and capable of participating in 60 minutes of physical activity movements and dances throughout the production.

Comfort interacting with young audiences is a must.

Strong singers preferred for one song that is performed in harmony by the cast.

No visible tattoos.

Must be available to participate in daytime performances on Wednesday, Jan. 18 and Thursday, Jan 19, 2017.

Prefer to rehearse on Saturdays, alternate evenings possible.

3 males - (no facial hair - slim to moderate build, prefer under 6' tall) to portray elementary classroom students
Toni Collie - Brilliant little student, wears glasses, speaks with a lisp
Jace Lowery- Always sleepy! Falls asleep during the school day
Sydney Andrews- Very excited about school, happy about his abilities

2 females (able to look like little girls, wear leggings and dresses, slim to moderate build) to portray elementary classroom students
Bobbi Wright- Always Hungry, very busy
Carmie Belle - Very encouraging of others, great student
Mari - Young child narrating

1 female, older sibling/ double as dancer/ Chef Veggaline, a Caribbean teacher who teaches the stage class and the audience a healthy eating lessons and lip syncs to the vegetable song track
1 male, older sibling/ double as dancer/ Dr. Thump-ba-bump, wears a heart suit and teaches a healthy living lesson
Mr. Ray-monde, 1 middle aged man, grumpy janitor, on stage throughout the production dancing and reacting to the various scenes
The "DING" man, hyper, energetic character who reinforces each lesson. Very crazy character.

Performances are paid.

Own transportation is a must.
