National Players is casting its 69th repertory tour, including “Othello,” “Alice in Wonderland,” and “The Great Gatsby.”

In classic American touring fashion, company members perform in all plays and also install, operate, and maintain all backstage and offstage elements.
Technical background is not required. In addition to performance and backstage roles, actors will also lead workshops in communities around America, teaching students of all ages.

REHEARSAL AND PRODUCTION DATES & LOCATIONS: Rehearses summer 2017 in Olney, MD. Tour 69 will run 11 months, from mid-June 2017 to mid-May 2018.
Touring begins fall 2017, with a heightened focus on the Mid-Atlantic region and a three or four week break in December.
Touring of the United States renews in January 2018 through mid-May 2018.
COMPENSATION & UNION CONTRACT DETAILS: Weekly stipend paid via direct deposit, plus on-site accommodations at Olney Theatre Center during rehearsal and local touring, and a weekly housing allowance to help offset road accommodations.
