AUDITIONS
for our
December 2018 production of
Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr.
***PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE***
If you have not been cast in a CPM show before - Please bring a photograph of yourself to attach to your audition form. This does NOT need to be a formal headshot. Any size photo will work.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are cast in this show and are new to the Playhouse OR WERE NOT IN THE CASTS of Anything Goes or Shakespeare there will be a MANDATORY company meeting for cast members and a parent/guardian on Saturday, October 27 at 3:00pm OR November 10 at11:00am.
You MUST attend one of these meetings in order to participate in the show.
Auditions for this show are for ages 9 to 18.
(If age 18 student must still be in high school)
We ask that you list all conflicts that you have between October 16 and December 1, 2018 on your audition form.
PLEASE NOTE:
Conflicts during Tech Week (November 24 - 30, 2018) will affect casting decisions. We prefer no conflicts during these weeks.
Rehearsals are normally three weeknights from 6:30 to 9:00pm and 12:00 to 6:00pm on Saturdays, except Tech/Dress weeks when they will be 12:00 to 6:00pm on Sat. and Sun. and weeknights from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

6:30 - 8:30pm
(You need to be signed in by 8:30pm in order to audition. Each audition group will take about 30 minutes. If we get a lot of auditionees there will be a long wait time between each group.)
PLEASE NOTE:
Performance Dates
December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16 @ 1:00pm
December 8 @ 7:00pm
December 15 @ 4:30pm
(Actor call time 10:00am for 1:00pm performances and 5:30pm for 7:00pm performances)
PERFORMANCE CONFLICTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Prepare 16 measures (or one verse and one chorus) of a song that shows off your voice the best (not too high or too low for your vocal range). The song does not need to be from the show.
BRING THE SHEET MUSIC WITH YOU OR A KARAOKE CD
(CD can have no lead vocals)
You may or may not be asked to read from the script.
Please dress appropriately and bring dance shoes, if you own them (tap shoes if you tap, this show has tap in it) to change into for a dance audition. If you do not have dance shoes, please wear comfortable shoes you can move in.
