Seeking union /non-union performer submissions for Twelfth Night, or What You Will 12/15 5-10 PM
Shakespeare in Clark Park, West Philadelphia's annual outdoor summer classic production is seeking union and non-union performer submissions for our outdoor production of *Twelfth Night, or What You Will *directed by Jack Tamburri.
This glam rock-infused production will be presented for 4 nights July 25-July 29, 2018 at Clark Park in West Philadelphia.
Rehearsals are predominantly weeknights and weekend days. First rehearsal June 19.
Rate Union Guest Artist
Non-union $250/week
Auditions will be held on 12/15 from 5-10 PM at Nine Hostage Arts in West Philadelphia by appointment only.
*Seeking actors of any age, ethnicity, and gender* comfortable with classical text and with a rock'n'roll singing style for the following roles:
Viola
Sebastian
Antonio (Actor/Combatants preferred)
Maria
Toby
Aguecheek
Malvolio
*Preparation:*
One 1 minute comic classical monologue
Approximately 16 bars (30-45 seconds) of a rock ballad (i.e. Queen *Somebody to Love) *to be sung acapella or with self-provided instrumentation.
Priority of selling style over perfect pitch. THERE WILL BE NO PIANIST.
