VEE Corporation, producer of Sesame Street Live and other family-friendly stage productions, is accepting video submissions for future tours and replacement positions.
FULL-BODY COSTUME CHARACTERS: we require versatile dancers, with strong technical ability in jazz and musical theatre dance styles, in the height range of 4’11” to 6’1”. Gymnastics and tap are pluses.
LIVE-MIC PERFORMERS
Must be able to dance well, sing, and act.
Tours run an average of ten months. Performers must be 18 or older. All available positions are PAID and NON-UNION.

Information for Video Audition Submissions
If you are unable to attend a VEE audition in person you may submit a recorded audition via link or a standard format DVD, a cover letter, resume and headshot via mail.
YOU MUST BE 18 OR OVER TO SUBMIT AN AUDITION VIA LINK OR DVD
ALL AUDITION SUBMISSIONS SHOULD INCLUDE:
At the beginning of your recorded audition include a full-length shot of yourself.
State your name clearly.
Then state the city and state you are located in and the date.
The DVD or link should not exceed five minutes in length.
If you send in a DVD, please label it with your name, height, city, and date.
If you include clips of shows you've been in previously, please be sure to include a detailed list of where you are located in each clip (for example “blue shirt, back row”, etc…)
If you wish to be considered for more than one type of role, then your link/DVD should include the required elements for each of the following types.
YOUR FULL BODY COSTUME VIDEO SHOULD INCLUDE:
30 seconds of each dance style you know. (You must have a strong technical ability in jazz and Broadway musical dance styles.)
YOUR LIVE CHARACTER VIDEO SHOULD INCLUDE:
30 seconds of each dance style you know.
Prepare 16 bars each from two different songs - one ballad and one up-tempo song. (These songs can be sung a cappella, with an instrumental recording or with an accompanist.)
Include an upbeat one-minute monologue. No dramatic monologues please.
YOUR COVER LETTER SHOULD INCLUDE:
When you would be available to work.
If you have a current passport and date of expiration.
Previous experience as a full body costume character, a live performer or as a puppeteer.
Types of roles you wish to be considered for: full body costume characters and/or live performer roles.
