Young actors ages 8-10 may sign up to audition from 5:30-7:00 on either day. Actors ages 11-18 may sign up to audition from 7:00 to 8:30 on either day.
For additional details and to sign-up for auditions, visit MVCCT’s website at mvcct.org. Any child who falls into the age range ages 8 to 18 may audition. Those auditioning must be 8 years old by the day of auditions
Founded in 1980 in response to a community desire for a creative outlet for youth in the Mount Vernon area south of Old Town, Alexandria, MVCCT has consistently served its community by offering three annual productions, summer and spring break camps, and after school programs for area youth. An ongoing scholarship program assures participation and accessibility for a broad range of area residents.
MVCCT is a nonprofit organization supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Virginia Commission for the Arts, and the Arts Council of Fairfax County. Additional support is provided by individuals and local businesses. MVCCT is reliant on a solid core of board members and volunteers and appreciates the continued support from our amazing community, parents and dedicated volunteers.
