Paid acting positions for adults in children's theater

Children’s Theater Association is holding auditions for FUN PEOPLE who want to be in “The Happy President,” a new play about George Washington. Performers must be 18 years old and older and be available to work in the daytime. Two roles are available: one male and one female. Each will perform multiple roles in the show. Please bring to the audition a monologue and a short song. They do not have to be from children’s plays.

We are holding auditions on Wednesday, September 24, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and on Thursday, September 25, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. We invite you to email us for an appointment time on those dates by emailing kdaly@ctabaltimore.org. Please, include your preferred time. We are taking appointments in fifteen minute increments, for example 10:00 am, 10:15 am, 10:30 am etc. Please, bring your picture and resume to the audition.

We perform on tour to schools and theaters throughout Maryland. Rehearsals are from October 10 through 31. Performances are November 1 to December 23 about three days a week.

We are seeking men and women of all races and ethnicities.
