Materials Required: To be considered for an audition, please submit a headshot and résumé in PDF format via email. A $25 application fee is required of all first-time applicants. The fee for singers who have performed with LOONY in previous shows or concerts is $15. Your materials will not be considered without paying the required application fee online.

Audition Requirements:
Please bring 3 to 4 arias
- one of which may be in a foreign language
- at least one should be from an operetta or light opera if possible
- one selection from classical/lyric musical theatre rep is allowed
Pianist Provided: Yes. May bring own. The fee for the pianist is $20.

Sigmund Romberg's The New Moon

NOTE: Production rehearsal period begins two weeks before each show opens.
Program Dates: Late April 2014
Program Information: The Light Opera of New York (LOONY) is now accepting applications for its 2014 season, which includes a February production of Sigmund Romberg's The New Moon at Symphony Space, and a production of Victor Herbert's Orange Blossoms in late April. All roles are available and up for consideration. All auditions will also be considered for other concerts and events throughout the year.
Compensation: Payment is provided. All roles, including chorus, are paid.
