Audition Details: Auditions for The Dwarf, a comic opera by Yoav Gal.
We are preparing for the full production which will take place in November 2013. Auditions by appointment at 219 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201.
Roles:
MR. T: Tenor. Friend of Chanticleer, also doubles as a knife-wielding waiter in a Mexican café.
MR. B: Bass. Friend of Chanticleer and Mr. T, also doubles as a Mexican policeman.
Please prepare two selections in English. 20th/21st-century opera preferred. Musical theater also appropriate (Sondheim, Weill, La Chiusa, Bernstein et simile).

Chorus Audition Information:
The VPR Chorus is a part-time, volunteer chorus. We are especially looking for tenors and baritones or basses. We are preparing for a "Sneak Preview" of Yoav Gal's comic opera The Dwarf. The full production will take place in November 2013. If you are interested in singing in the chorus, please contact Judith Barnes at vpropera@gmail.com.
