Auditions for the Open Jar Institute
The Open Jar Institute is a week long session in New York City where students have the opportunity to see a lot of Broadway shows, take intensive classes from working Broadway artists all day, perform for casting directors, discover a lot about themselves as performers and experience the big city in a big way. A majority of the students who study there end up working on Broadway. Talented teens are encouraged to the audition this year at Westfield High School. The auditions are open, and they will be accepting around 120 high school students from all over the world.
