Materials Required: To be considered for an audition for our spring production at Symphony Space, please submit a headshot and resume in PDF form via email. A $20 application fee is required of all applicants, except those involved in the 2012 LOONY season. Click the application form URL to pay the application fee. A $20 non-refundable application fee is required of all applicants EXCEPT those who were a part of LOONY’s 2012 season. All previous cast members must audition to be considered.

Audition Requirements: Please bring 3-4 arias, at least one of which must be in English, and one should be from an operetta or light opera if possible.

Program Information: The Light Opera of New York (LOONY) is now accepting applications for its 2013 season, which includes a May production of the 100th Anniversary of Victor Herbert’s Sweethearts at Symphony Space. All roles are available and up for consideration. All auditions will also be considered for future events. Possibilities include a Valentine’s Day Gala, Victor Herbert Birthday Concert, the 2013-2014 season, and more.
Compensation: Payment is provided. All roles - including principles, comprimario, and chorus - are paid.
