American Family Theatre/American Theatre Arts for Youth, a national touring theatre company in its 42nd year, is seeking actors for the upcoming 2012/13 season of touring musical theatre for young audiences.
All actors must be strong singers and movers. Seeking a diverse company; ethnic performers strongly encouraged to submit.
Casting:
Fall Tours: Beauty and the Beast, Babes In Toyland (Oct-Dec)
Winter/Spring Tours: Black Journey (Jan-March), Ellis Island Stories, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Wizard of Oz, We The People & Cinderella (Jan-May)
Shows rehearse in Philadelphia. ALL ACTORS ARE SIGNED ON AS ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS, and will be required, as such, to lift scenery, work on costumes and/or sound equipment during daily load-in and load outs, and driving duties.
Pay is $300.00 a week for performance weeks ($200 direct deposit, $100 cash per-diem). All transportation and housing is provided by company.
