Audition Details:
The Thomas Circle Singers, a 36-voice auditioned chorus (www.thomascirclesingers.org) seeks an experienced rehearsal pianist beginning September 2012.
Rehearsals are Tuesday nights 7:15-9:45 in downtown Washington, DC and are supplemented by quarterly Saturday rehearsals that are also required. The rehearsal pianist may be called upon to be a keyboard performer in concert as needed. Prior choral accompanying experience, excellent sight-reading skills (including open score) and ability to lead an occasional sectional rehearsal are required.
Compensation: Competitive monthly salary, plus additional compensation for concert performances. This is a contract position that runs September 2012 through May 2013.
