Audition Requirements:
Vocal auditions are being held for the 2010 Castleton Festival, artistic director and conductor, Lorin Maazel, Resident Stage Director: William Kerley. All roles are open for a new production of Giacomo Puccini's "Il Trittico" as well as other material to be confirmed at a later date.
Pianist Provided: Yes. May bring own.
Remuneration:
Modest stipend plus transportation, housing and all meals.

The Castleton Festival was inaugurated in the summer of 2009, as the newest initiave of the Chateauville Foundation, Lorin Maazel, founder and artistic director. The Festival grew out of the tremendously successful Castleton Residency Program for Young Artists and has enjoyed an immense amount of community support. The second Castleton Festival will feature several original chamber opera productions as well as various symphonic concerts, master classes, recitals, and symposia.
