Briar Rose - ingenue, soprano, genuine young girl, full of love and curiosity, age 16.
Queen - character actress, mezzo soprano, doting mother, ages 30 to 40.
King - Character actor, baritone, selfless, loving father. age 30 to 40.
Joycelyn - soprano, good fairy, happy, perky helpless. Ageless..
Woodsman - comic character actor, tenor, witty, agile, magical assistant to Good Fairy, Ageless.

ELVES & THE SHOEMAKER
1st Rehearsal: 3/1/18, Opening: 3/6/18, Closing: 3/18/18
Evileen- Character actress, alto, evil fairy, brooding, conniving, regal, nothing redeeming about her, Ageless.
Prince Bryon - Leading man, Bari-tenor, daring, fearless, on a quest. 20 to 25.
Joseph Cobbler - Baritone, poor, hard-working all around nice guy. 30 to 40
Peach Cobbler - Mezzo-Soprano, soprano, Joseph's wife, hard-working, supportive, 30 to 40.
Elvish/Jacob, the printer - Comic, Character actor, Bari-tenor. One of the two zany elves and the neighbor in town who is hearty, happy man. Should be 5'3" or shorter. a child-like ages 25-30.
Sprite/Lady of King's Court - Comic character actress. Mezzo-soprano. The second of the zany duo of elves and a snooty lady of he King's Court. Should be 5'3" or shorter. 25 to 30.
Lowenwell/Traveller - Character actor. Baritone. Mean, vile landlord of Joseph and Peach Cobblerand an over emoting, over-the-hill actor. ages 40 to 50.

ALADDIN
1st Rehearsal: 5/3/18, Opening: 5/9/18, Closing: 7/21/18, Hiatus: 5/21 to 7/8/18
Aladdin - Juvenile. Tenor. A poor young man with great spirit and love of life. Street smart. age 18 to 25.
Sapphira - Ingenue. Soprano. A princess of roral bearing but feisty and stubborn. ages 16 to 25.
Sultan - Character Actor. Baritone. Easily swayed by money and richs. Not he smartest of men, but a good father to Sapphira. ages 40 to 55.
Mahajah - Caracter actor. Baritone. An evil magician, menaacing, deceptive, must have his own way. age 40 to 55.
Yokeel - Comic character actress. Mezzo-soprano. Mahajah's right hand "man" but foolish and naïve, would do anything to keep Mahajah's friendship. Small in stature. ages 35 to 45.
Genie of the Lamp - Character actor. Baritone. Wise, obedient and loyal. Must be very agile, have a strong stage presence and voice. Ageless, but must be young at heart.
