PARENTS: There is a parent volunteer requirement of working at 2 performances for your child to be cast in this show.
If you are unable to volunteer there will be a $50.00 participation fee required for your child's participation.
Volunteer sign up or fee paid will be due at the Mandatory Company meetings.
PARENTS AND STUDENTS:
PLEASE NOTE: If you are cast in this show and are new to the Playhouse OR WERE NOT IN THE CASTS of Anything Goes, Shakespeare, Millie, or Once On This Island there will be a MANDATORY company meeting for cast members and a parent/guardian on Saturday, March 23 @ 11:00am OR , Monday, April 1 @ 6:30pm. You MUST attend one of these meetings in order to participate in the show.

If you have not been cast in a CPM show before - Please bring a photograph of yourself to attach to your audition form. This does NOT need to be a formal headshot. Any size photo will work.
AGE RESTRICTION FOR THIS SHOW
Auditions for this show are for ages 12 to 18.
(If age 12, you must LOOK LIKE A TEENAGER - if age 18, you must still be in high school)
We ask that you list all conflicts that you have between March 13 and May 2 on your audition form.
PLEASE NOTE:
Conflicts during Tech Week (April 27 - May 2, 2019) will affect casting decisions. We prefer no conflicts during this week.
Rehearsals are normally three/four weeknights from 6:30 to 9:00pm and 12:00 to 6:00pm on Saturdays and/or Sundays, except Tech/Dress weeks when they will be 12:00 to 6:00pm on Sat. and Sun. and weeknights from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

(You need to be signed in by 8:30pm in order to audition. Each audition group will take about 30 minutes. If we get a lot of auditionees there will be a long wait time between each group.)

PLEASE NOTE: Show opens on a Friday night and there is no performance Sunday, May 5th.

PERFORMANCE CONFLICTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Prepare 16 measures (or one verse and one chorus) of a song that shows off your voice the best (not too high or too low for your vocal range). The song does not need to be from the show.
BRING THE SHEET MUSIC WITH YOU OR A KARAOKE CD
(CD can have no lead vocals)
You may or may not be asked to read from the script.
Please dress appropriately - bring dance and tap shoes, if you own them, to change into for a dance audition. If you do not have dance shoes, please wear comfortable shoes you can move in.
