Announcement – 2018 DC Non-Equity Auditions
When: Saturday December 8th and Sunday December 9th from 10am-6pm each day
Where: Round House Theatre Administrative Offices located at One Veteran’s Place, Silver Spring, MD 20910
Who can audition: Anyone who is either Non-Equity or EMC Candidate, over 16 years of age and is available to perform in the 2018-2019 theatre season.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 9:00 PM on Friday, November 23rd. No exceptions.
How to sign up: Email dcauditions@gmail.com READ the submission instructions below thoroughly before you submit and follow the instructions. Incorrect submissions will be deleted and not notified.
E-Mail Subject Line: Your Name - Your Mobile Number
In the body of the email, include the following as a LIST please - not sentences:
1) EITHER: Let us know your top three time slots on 12/8 or 12/9 (see slot designations below) OR: If you truly can take any slot available, then you may state ANY in your email and you will have a better chance of getting a slot.
However, please make sure that it really is the case that you can take ANY slot on either day.
The time slots are as follows: 10am-11am, 11am-12pm, 12pm-1pm, 2pm-3pm, 3pm-4pm, 4pm-5pm, and 5pm-6pm.
You will be scheduled in a one-hour block within one of your requested time slots. Actors are called 30 minutes prior to their time slot. So Actors in the 10 AM group must arrive by 9:30 AM for example.
2) ATTACH your Resume and Headshot as ONE PDF Document with the RESUME AS THE FIRST PAGE.
It must be named Your First Name-Your Last Name.
(Auditors will receive a file with the electronic versions of all actors who are selected to be seen so it is critical that your PDF be named properly.)
If you don’t know how to do this ask a friend or google it! In correct submissions will not be accepted!
Incorrect submissions will be deleted – and you will not be notified.
NOTE: What to prepare for the audition will be sent to those who secure an audition slot via email.
NOTE: EVERYONE who submits correctly but does not secure a slot will be notified via email about the stand by process.
