Virginia Opera Auditions

Virginia Opera regularly seeks talent from the local area for the chorus, dance, and supernumerary actors for our upcoming productions.

Auditions for Virginia Opera’s 2018-2019 season choruses will be held at the Harrison Opera House in downtown Norfolk on May 7 and 8 from 5:30pm until 8:00pm each day. You must schedule your audition in advance.

Please prepare one aria or art song (foreign language preferred), and we will provide an accompanist for your audition. Complete details will be provided once you’ve been scheduled.

To schedule an audition, please contact Artistic Director Adam Turner via email at adam.turner@vaopera.org or by calling 757-627-9545.
