Auditions will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 6:00-11:00 p.m.
At Theatre Gym in Virginia Rep Center (114 W. Broad Street, Richmond VA, 23220)
Auditions are by appointment only.

● Include CRIMES OF THE HEART – AUDITION REQUEST in the subject line
● The body of your email should include the following:
○ your full name
○ the role(s) for which you wish to be considered
○ headshot
○ resume
○ Incomplete audition requests will not be processed
● NOTE: Once your audition request has been processed, you will receive a Confirmation Email that contains further details regarding your audition, including your audition appointment time.
Callbacks will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2018; 6:30-11:00 PM.
Rehearsals begin June 26, 2018 for a run of July 20, 2018 – August 26, 2018 at Virginia Rep’s Historic Hanover Tavern.
Union and Non-Union. All performers will be paid.

In this Southern Gothic comedy, three sisters reunite to escape their past in the hopes of a better tomorrow, yet their present reality offers hilarious and troublesome obstacles. This Pulitzer Prize-winning play takes a touching and irreverent look at sisterhood and what it means to find yourself amidst despair.
What to prepare:
Those auditioning are asked to prepare sides from the script. Sides will be provided in the Confirmation Email from casting@virginiarep.org. Hard copies will be provided at the venue.
