Maryland Lyric Opera Young Artist Institute 2017-2018 Auditions

Maryland Lyric Opera will offer 4 sessions of a three-week intensive program providing essential training. Daily coaching from MDLO Music Director Louis Salemno, vocal instruction from Head of Voice Faculty William Stone, classes in recitative, Italian, and more. Applications are now being accepted.

Auditions will be held on November 11th in Bethesda, MD for consideration of all four program dates. Additional audition dates TBA. The first application deadline is November 3, 2017.

Four Sessions of the MDLO Young Artist Institute 2017-2018:

I. November 27 to December 15, 2017

II. February 5–23, 2018

III. April 2–20, 2018

IV. June 4–22, 2018.

Early applications are encouraged. Those who audition on November 11, 2017 will be considered for all four sessions.

We will only be hearing live auditions.

There is no application fee.

There is no accompanist fee.

There is no tuition fee.

The application procedures include a simple form and a one-page resume submitted via YAP Tracker.
