Audition to make dreams come true aboard Disney Cruise Line®. The Disney Dream awarded BEST OVERALL LARGE CRUISE SHIP 2017 by Cruise Critic, now including our newest Mainstage show based on Walt Disney Picture’s Live Action Beauty and the Beast! The Disney Fantasy, 2017 Cruise Critic Cruisers’ Choice award.
Disney Cruise Line®hires a repertory company of 24 performers to portray roles in each of our musical theatre style productions. Toronto rehearsal begins Late December 2017 with onboard performance contract ending early September 2018. Contracts include: competitive pay plus bonus, room and board, guest sailing privileges, and additional benefits package.
Seeking the following roles:
GENIE: 25 to 35, 5'11''+, the fantastical magic-maker made famous in the film Aladdin, excellent comic actor, alla Robin Williams/principal vocalist with improvisational skills, strong bari-tenor to G. Portrays other roles in the repertory.
COGSWORTH: Lead role. Male, mid-30s to late 40s, manic, officious English major domo, someone wound him up way too tight and he has never wound down, slightly snooty Brit, with a heart of gold, English accent required. Portrays other roles in the repertory.
LE FOU: Lead role. Male, 25 to 35, Gaston's adoring hanger-on buddy, seeking an accomplished stage comedian, must be able to sing. Portrays other roles in the repertory.
BEAST: Principal role. 25 to 35. Handsome, well-built leading man type. Grounded actor, vulnerable. A prince with a tortured soul trapped in the body of the Beast. Angry, volatile, and hopeless until Belle awakens his warm, loving human side. Not a caricature. Portrays other roles in the repertory.

JASMINE: Principal role. Female, plays 18-22, 5’2''-5’6'', Soprano with a strong mix, contemporary musical theatre/Disney princess sound; beautiful, sense of humor, independent and feisty; desperately longs to experience life beyond the castle walls. Must be physically fit with strong, fit core. Portrays other roles in the repertory.
BELLE: Principal role. Female, 20’s, Grounded actor, classically beautiful, eyes that shine with intelligence, unaware of her looks, strong-willed, adventurous, noble, a true heroine, sensitive and smart. Portrays other roles in the repertory.
SOPHIA: Youthful female, young 20s, 5'3''. Natural actor and strong singer, ethnically diverse, to play Dr. Greenaway’s 13 year old daughter. Current, contemporary, hip, and upbeat with a winning spirit. Portrays other roles in the repertory.
Disney Princess: Various roles. Quintessential Disney princess. Strong singer with mix/belt – Disney princess sound. Must dance. Portrays other roles in the repertory.
KAYLA/NICOLE: Lead roles. Female, 18+ to portray high school senior. Strong singer, dancer & actor. Funny sidekick, feisty with a big personality, Soprano, Pop/Broadway style, Low F to High G mix. Portrays other roles in the repertory.
