Fast-talking professor Harold Hill arrives in River City, Iowa with a grand plan: to form the finest band America has ever seen! Despite the town’s enthusiasm, straightlaced librarian Marian Paroo smells a scam. Will Professor Hill and his lively young musicians win her over? Or will she chase him out on the next train back to Indiana?
Rehearsals will begin at the end of May and will be held from 6-9 pm Monday through Thursday as well as some Saturday mornings. Performances at Lanier Middle School will be July 22-24 and 29-30 with evening and matinee performances.
