*We also have dedicated singers who live in the New England region, but are currently not auditioning singers for that area. Currently seeking singers in the Mid-Atlantic (PA, NJ, NY, DE) region only.
Seeking all voice parts for standard caroling gigs. (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass.)
Candidate Requirements:
*MUST read music
*Either a college degree in music, AND/OR previous professional singing experience
*Reliability
*Excellent musicianship (ability to learn music on your own)
*Fantastic Team Player
*Good performance skills and stage presence
*Ability to sing in English, German, Latin
*Ability to be flexible and think on your feet - our gigs and venues are extremely varied
*MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION!!!! (We go to the clients’ venues for the gigs, and not all places are accessible by public transportation. This is something we have no control over.)
New members will be required to attend at least ONE of our three pre-season rehearsals in November in Pennsylvania. (Rehearsals are non-paid.)
COMPETITIVE PAY FOR ALL GIGS
*No live auditions. Online recordings/submissions only.
Submissions will include:
-Three pieces from OTC’s repertoire
(PDF’s of specific songs will be emailed to each singer.)
-One piece of singer’s choice. (Songs or arias from opera, operetta, or legit musical theatre are good choices. No belting, please.)
