Auditions are limited to those 16 and over.
Where: McLean Community Center, 1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean, VA
When: Monday April 11th at 7:30pm and Tuesday April 12th at 7:30pm
Callbacks April 15 & 17 (by invitation only).
We suggest that you download the Audition Form and complete it before arriving at the audition, but forms will be available there too.
Please bring a headshot and a list of all your conflicts between the audition date and the end of the show.
Please attend ONE audition evening only

Rehearsals start immediately
Performance dates: weekends, July 8 - 24, 2016

Auditions are limited to those 16 and over.
AUDITION PROCESS
Prepare 1-2 songs 16/32 bars, an accompanist will be provided. Music must be in the original key no transpositions please! A CD/IPOD player will be available for your use.
Please be prepared for a choreography audition.
There will be cold readings from the script.
Just show up. No appointment needed. You do NOT need to come to both audition dates.
Rehearsals begin immediately. Dates may be adjusted to work around cast schedules where possible. Please come prepared to report your possible conflicting dates.
Please bring a current resume and headshot with you, if you have one, to be used by MCP on your audition form. If you do not have a headshot, we will take a picture.
We send out audition notices by email a couple of weeks before the auditions. If you are not already on our list, to be notified by email of future auditions and shows sign up for Audition Notices.
McLean Community Players is an all-volunteer organization. There is no pay for performers.
MCP is an excellent group to audition for. All parts for every show are open. None are ever pre-cast. You need not be a member of MCP and do not need to apply or pay to audition.
