Capitol Opera Richmond is looking for singers for an original Filipino opera sung in Tagalog entitled "Noli mi tangere" (or "Touch me not.") It is the only Filipino opera in Tagalog based on the story of Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe. "Noli..." had its world premiere in Chicago, and has since been performed at the Kennedy Center. COR will mount a reduced chamber version to be performed October 2016 at the Henrico Theatre.
