ConcertOPERA Philadelphia Auditions



ConcertOPERA Philadelphia's auditions will be held in May/June 2014. Applications accepted early April through May 2nd. Location: The Ethical Society Building, 1906 Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, Pa. 19103. Please note, if using GPS, that this is not Rittenhouse Street in zip code 19119.

Rittenhouse Square is located between Locust and Walnut Streets, running east/west, and 18th and 19th Streets running north/south. Easily accessible by Septa (public transportation).

Season 2014/2015 production will be Faust, by Charles Gounod. Conductor: Yoonhak Baek; Stage Director: TBA

General information for auditions is as follows:

Sing aria of any specific role in which you are interested plus one other contrasting, or chose two arias, one of which should be similar to the style of this opera. All roles open. Modest artist fees/stipends. No housing. No transportation compensation.

Rehearsals will take place in January/February for a condensed period of a few weeks, depending on conductor and artists' schedules.
Three dress rehearsals additionally one week prior to performances in February/early March 2015.
