Disney Cruise Line® is seeking talented and versatile musical theatre performers for entertainment productions on our luxury cruise liners, the Disney Dream® and our newest ship, the Disney Fantasy® sailing on voyages to the Bahamiam and Caribbean ports.
Repertory casting for a variety of Broadway musical theatre style shows. Nine month contracts begin in June or July 2014. Contracts include competitive pay, room and board, guest sailing privileges, contract completion bonus, additional benefits package and no cruise staff duty.
Seeking the following roles:
Ensign Benson: female, 20s-30s, actress to play the awkward stage manager, the star of the show, vulnerable, quirky, honest, and winning, transforms from awkward to confident, actress will also play the Fairy Godmother from "Cinderella".
Fairy Godmother: female, 20s-30s, 5’3 to 5’5”. Character actress who can play the loopy and lovable Fairy Godmother. Musical theatre mix to an F. Must sing well.
Mary Poppins: female, late 20’s-30’s. Lovable British nanny, beautiful Soprano.
Ursula: female, 30’s. At total ease working the crowd. Fearless yet flirty and loads of fun. Sings “Poor Unfortunate Souls.” Bette Midler type. Character actress with strong belt to ‘D’.
Yzma: female. Mid 20s-30s. 5’2”-5’4” with very trim build. Comedienne/principal vocalist with great physical life. Originally voiced by Eartha Kitt in "The Emperor’s New Groove." Sings “Yzmopolis”. Pop Mix to E.
Cruella: female, 20’s+, 5’7” and above. Long, thin, gorgeous diva with a great bellowing laugh. Can be sexy as well as intimidating. Usually played by a dancer. Strong speak-singer.

Bert: male, mid 20's - 30's, Mary Poppins' chimney sweep chum. Lovable cockney Brit with a spring in his step. Strong tenor, must move very well.
Peter Pan/Quasimodo: male, early 20's, youthful, tenor with strong falsetto, moves well and has loads of charm, 5'6"+.
Lumiere: male, 20’s-30's. Tenor with loads of charm that moves well.
Iago/Pinocchio: male, 20's, youthful character actor with strong falsetto who moves very well. Tenor. Capable of imitating Iago, the wise-cracking, fowl-feathered, annoying sidekick to Jafar, always has something to say; puppetry skills a plus.
