VMA After School Program and Summer Institute offers a unique musical experience for young jazz vocalists, and is newly affiliated with NM Productions' Voice Studios of Laurie Nelson. In addition to instruction in jazz improv and performance experience in ensemble with the jazz band, voice clinics for the 2013-2014 season will be conducted by Laurie Nelson and her studio staff teachers, Ashley Batten and Alisa Kieffer. The musical experience at VMA is coupled with community service, performance and travel opportunities.
