Auditions are for artists living in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Performers must be available for both period.
Performers should be between the ages of 21 and 35.

Program Information:
Lyric Opera Virginia is holding auditions for artists living in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area for the singer acting roles of Sharon Graham and Tony Candolino in Terrence McNally’s award winning Broadway play Master Class with performances to be presented at the Gregory Family Theater at the Hylton Center for the Arts, Manassas and in Virginia Beach, Williamsburg and Richmond as part of Lyric Opera Virginia’s regular season on Friday, November 15 at George Mason University Center for the Arts.
Performers must be available for both period and should be between the ages of 21 and 35, strong acting skills a necessity, arias to be performed are “Lady Macbeth’s Letter Aria” from Macbeth for Sharon Graham and “Recondita armonia” from Tosca Tony Candolino. Broadway veteran Lisa Vroman will perform the role of Maria Callas. Greg Ganakas will direct.
