The Arlington (VA) chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society is seeking a dynamic director with good conducting and leadership skills and who can attract and retain new members. Familiarity with the barbershop style and with BHS would be helpful. Traditionally, the chapter has done two shows per year and competes annually in the Southern Division contest. The chorus and its chapter quartets also make numerous other appearances in the community. The chapter is now in a re-building mode following the deaths of several members and the departure from the area of others. The departing director served in that position for 14 years.
