Children's Chorus of Washington, DC

The Children's Chorus of Washington seeks Executive Director.

Now celebrating its 17th season, the Children's Chorus of Washington (CCW) has taken its place among the finest children's choruses in the country. Five performing ensembles feature more than 160 singers between ages 9 and 18. CCW performs with music organizations at the highest level including the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO), the Choral Arts Society, and The Washington Chorus in prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Strathmore Music Hall. CCW also has community outreach programs, most notably the Prep Class and SING DC programs, designed to serve first-time singers and under-resourced students in our community.

We are seeking a new Executive Director to work in partnership with the Artistic Director, Joan Gregoryk, and CCW's Board of Directors, to continue and grow this exemplary organization.

The primary focus will be on fundraising, development and budget oversight. The Executive Director performs the executive functions of CCW, manages community and parent outreach, directs media/marketing, and oversees administrative staff and operations.
