2013-2014 Season Information: Yoav Gal's comic opera THE DWARF
Program Dates: June 2013 production of excerpts. The full production is planned for November 2013.
Program Information: The Dwarf is composer Yoav Gal's first opera, premiered at VPR in 2003.
ROLES:
CHANTICLEER: Baritone. Obsessive, headstrong, macho. Pursues Lady Katherina Kaiser all the way to Mexico.
MR. T: Tenor. Friend of Chanticleer, also doubles as a knife-wielding waiter in a Mexican café.
MR. B: Bass. Friend of Chanticleer and Mr. T, also doubles as a Mexican policeman.
