Seeking Non-Union Actors for 2013 National Touring Musicals / American Family Theatre
American Family Theatre/American Theatre Arts for Youth, a professional national touring theatre company is seeking Actors for upcoming 2013 season of touring musical.
All actors must be strong singers and movers. Seeking a diverse company. Ethnic performers strongly encouraged submitting.
2012 Spring Tours: Ellis Island Stories, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Wizard of Oz, We The People & Cinderella.
All shows are original musical adaptions and tour from winter 2013 till May.
Primarily seeking: Beauty for Beauty and the Beast (soprano), Beauty for Sleeping Beauty (strong mover), Prince for Cinderella (Baritone), Versatile Male Actor to play the narrator in Beauty and the Beast. Always looking for on the road replacements and last minute casting changes.

About the tours:
-ALL ACTORS ARE SIGNED ON AS ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS, and will be required, as such, to lift scenery, work on costumes and/or sound equipment during daily load-in and load outs, and driving duties.
-Shows rehearse in Philadelphia for 7 days
-Pay is $300.00 a week for performance weeks ($200 direct deposit, $100 cash per-diem).
-All transportation and housing is provided by company.
