Children's Chorus of Washington, DC Seeks Operations Manager


Children's Chorus of Washington seeks a full-time Operations Manager, who plays an integral part of our mission to provide the best choral experience for young people in the nation's capital.

The position is responsible for (though not limited to): managing various aspects of administrative duties (customer relations, bookkeeping with Quickbooks, office inventory/supplies, etc.), assisting with program-related tasks (registrations, databases, tuition payments, rehearsal support, etc.), and supporting development activities (appeal campaigns, fundraising events, donor database, etc.). Reporting to the Executive Director, the Operations Manager interacts with prospective customers, existing chorus members, business vendors, and many other constituencies who collaborate with CCW. Skills and Characteristics for an Ideal Candidate: A college degree in a relevant field; strong interpersonal skills with adults and children; working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications; well-organized and detail-oriented; ability to work under pressure and deadlines; follow through on every task; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; strong writing skills; willingness to adapt to new ideas, methods, and systems. Prior experience in accounting and/or with Quickbooks would be preferred but not required.
