Disney Creative Entertainment in association with Disney Cruise Line® is seeking musical theater performers for the Disney Dream® featuring the brand new spectacular, "Disney’s Believe."
Repertory casting for up to four original musical theatre style shows, including “Disney's Believe” and “Villains Tonight.” Nine-month contracts with competitive weekly pay, room and board, guest sailing privileges and contract completion bonus and sails the Caribbean and Bahamas begin Nov. 2012.
Seeking the following roles:
Dr. Greenway – male, mid-30s+, actor/principal vocalist of any heritage, bass/baritone, with strong comic ability and warmth, the prototypical dad, he loves his daughter but is consumed by his work as a scientific botanist
Sophia – female, 20s, young actress/principal vocalist of any heritage, strong soprano/mix, Dr. Greenaway's young daughter with a positive spirit, upbeat energy, and lovely air about her, loves her dad very much
Genie – male, ageless, 5'11"+, the fantastical magic-maker made famous in the film "Aladdin," excellent comic actor/principal vocalist with improvisational skills, strong bari-tenor to G
Ensign Benson – female, 20s-30s, actress to play the awkward stage manager, the star of the show, vulnerable, quirky, honest, and winning, transforms from awkward to confident, actress will also play the Fairy Godmother from "Cinderella"
