Preliminary Auditions will be held in New York City December 10, 11 and 12, 2012 with a final round of auditions the afternoon of December 12, 2012.
LOV will provide a pianist for the auditions. Guest pianists are not permitted.

Program Information: Lyric Opera Virginia (LOV) announces auditions for its 2013-2014 Edythe C. Harrison Young Artist Program which offers artists the opportunity to perform small roles and cover leading roles in main stage productions, as well as Community Outreach promotional concerts and tours. LOV’s mission is present professional opera and musical theater gems of the classical and contemporary opera and musical theater repertoires in new, fresh and accessible formats appealing to 21st century audiences. LOV is staffed by a knowledgeable and experienced group of opera professionals led by Maestro Peter Mark as Artistic Director, the founder of Virginia Opera and Associate Artistic Director Maestro Joseph Walsh.
Compensation: Payment is provided. Edythe C. Harrison Young Artist Program contracts will include weekly salary, travel and housing.
