Audition Details: Opera on the James (D) Lynchburg, VA Tyler Young Artist Program seeks four singers: SATB needed. Program dates: March 2- 30, '13. Perform roles of Monostatos, Speaker, 1st and 2nd (or 3rd) Lady in "Flute" in English. Roles in outreach programming in Little Red Riding Hood. Program includes coach dedicated full time to program as well as musical and dramatic coachings on Opera on the James repertoire AND personal repertoire chosen by artist. French and German conversation. Preview audio CD or electronic clips required before Lynchburg or NYC auds are assigned. Payment: $425 a week as independent contractor. Transportation reimbursement of up to $350 for travel to/from Lynchburg. Transp REQUIRED in Lynchburg. Housing: Home stays.
