Through this series the Society presents classical voice recitals in various venues in the greater Washington area to broaden public appreciation of this art form and to provide professional opportunities for local singers.
Two Winning Singers will be presented in four Joint Recitals with a pianist provided by the Society in the Spring of 2011 at four Washington area venues. The winners will receive $500.00 each per performance.
Exclusive to residents of the greater Washington DC area.
Basic requirements: Submit a CD containing a total of 4 songs in 4 different languages. One song must be in English, the others in three different languages of the singer's choice.
