DC VA TAP's Lady O'Ley Auditions, Ages 6 - 18, in partnership with the Juilliard School

DC & VA, 'LADY O'LEY,' TEEN ARTS PERFORMANCE CAMP

The Boys & Girls of Greater Washington TAP (Teen Arts Performance) Camp, a residential visual & performing arts camp, in partnership with The Juilliard School, is casting Lady O'ley, an "edutainment" musical.

Tony M. Small, TAP artistic dir.; Cornelius Jones, Jr., guest actor & coach; Caleb Jones, asst. artistic dir.

The camp runs June 21-July 3 in Scotland, MD; excerpts of the musical will perform at Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage & the Dupont National Park Theatre Opening.

Seeking—Students: boys & girls, aged 6-18, with an interest in music (piano, violin, viola, drums, bass, lead guitar), theater, dance, visual arts, and costume design.

Students may audition in the following:

Musical Theatre: 2 Minute song & 2 minute monologue
Drama: 2-3 minute monologue
Vocal Music: 2 minutes of any song (piano will be available)
Dance: 2 minute choreographed routine
Instrumental: (Piano, Violin, Viola, Drums, Bass and Lead Guitar): 2 minutes in any genre
Visual Arts and Costume Design: A portfolio must be submitted that includes a combination of 5 sketches and/or designs. A “live” sketch session and interview will also be conducted on audition dates.
