General audition information:
• Seeking 30 musical theater performers with a mix of singing, dancing and acting skills.
• Specific roles available for mature teens (16+) and young adults (<30) as well as those 30 and up (men and women). The “teenagers” will be cast based on “look” not on chronological age.
• Minorities are encouraged to audition. Alternative casting is desired.
• Please prepare 32 bars of a song that best shows off your vocal abilities. Classic musical theater selections (not from the show) are preferred (R&H, Porter, Berlin, Gershwin, Loesser are good choices). Please no pop/rock selections (Wicked, Rent) or a cappella (without accompaniment). We will test rock sound for Conrad at callbacks.
• Come dressed to dance/move – comfortable clothes, dance shoes or hard soled shoes. No flip-flops or sandals please.
